My new tent...

I have acquired an ex-display Bear Lake 6 tent from Yeomans Outdoors. it has required some TLC and I am working on it...

We took it up to Red Bank Farm at midterm and weathered the elements.

It's a superb polycotton tent that costs a fortune new, but I got it for a good price.

I need to add a side extension for cooking, wet boots etc.

I can't wait to take this tent to France maybe next year...

Holiday...

I'm bored already! What to do in the rain with a seven year old? We cycled yesterday (in the rain), went shopping today, (still in the rain). Tomorrow?( it will still be raining) I think I might go into school and do some work...
Hoping for better next week - I want to tackle Scafell Pike! Will camp at Wasedale and walk from there. Might do Great Gable as well! But...not in the rain! I'm going to try a little campsite near the Wasedale Head Inn instead of the main campsite. It sounds more my style!
Pictures will be posted!

Happy Camping

I spend a lot of my time finding out about tents and tent accessories. I can offer advice about tent buying and everything that goes with it.
If you are looking to buy camping equipment for solo camping or en-masse with your family, I might be able to give you some advice about what to buy and where from.
I keep up to date with offers and incentives from major dealers in the camping industry and would enjoy helping you to achieve 'happy camping!'
Try me for advice!
I'm off to Great Langdale this week, enjoying my passion... with hubby and grandson... in my Vango Diablo 900XP, awesome tent... worth the put up!
Mail me if you would like some advice!
